Please join us to hear Liz Finney, Certified end-of-life doula on the topic of having discussions with clients about illness, dying and grief. 

Session Title: Let's Talk About Death

Session Overview:  While we may work with clients on estate planning, it can still be difficult to approach and respond to direct conversations about death and dying.  Liz will share her experience and training on how to have conversations about illness, death and grief.

Speaker Bio: Liz Finney has a passion for living every day with the awareness that life is short and a desire to live it consciously. As a certified death doula, she guides others to consider and prepare for death as a natural part of life. She also has over 25 years’ experience within government, public sector, not for profit and international organizations. Liz serves on a number of Boards, including as Chair of CAGP Nova Scotia Chapter, and is currently Director of Fund Development for Bonny Lea Farm, an all-inclusive service provider for people with intellectual disabilities.
